The Challenge

An operator running 18 milk and milkshake vending machines across four counties had inherited them as sealed units: Weintek touchscreens and Siemens S7-1200 controllers with no source files, a know-how-protected PLC program, and no way to change a screen, a price or a cleaning cycle without the original supplier. Every fault meant a drive to the machine.

Our Solution

We extracted the HMI project from a panel on site, decompiled it in EasyBuilder Pro and recovered the full 687-tag address map. We rebuilt the touchscreen software (21 screens, zero compile errors, verified end to end in the simulator) and re-implemented the controller logic in TIA Portal, validated against a simulator of the original machine, staged for commissioning under the operator's sign-off. Using only the remote-access service the panels already had, we then pulled live temperatures and dispense counts from all 18 machines into one operations dashboard with an alert system tuned to how each machine actually behaves.

The Challenge

UK property developers, planners, and land agents were drowning in manual process: cross-referencing planning constraints across dozens of government portals, building financial appraisals in error-prone spreadsheets, and spending weeks assembling viability reports for LPA submission. A single site assessment could consume half a day of a senior planner's time, and a full viability assessment could stall a deal for weeks.

Our Solution

Enter a postcode and describe what you want to build. QPlan does the rest: checking 35+ government datasets, scoring risk, and producing a professional report in under 60 seconds. Need financials? It models multiple development options with RICS-aligned appraisals and generates PDF and Excel outputs, including feasibility documents. For LPA submissions, it produces full NPPG-compliant viability assessments. An interactive map lets you explore constraints visually, view planning history, and measure sites. Every assessment draws on 51 configured LPA profiles and 223 indexed NPPF policies, so the advice is always grounded in current planning policy.
